The school curriculum keeps in mind the capabilities of each student, thus has been designed in a way that the school activities help students learn and practice skills that will help them express themselves with their individuality. To nurture the talent of each Motherland school has made extensive arrangements that enable the students to learn different arts, crafts and sciences.

The school provides a rich variety of activities namely electronics, motor mechanics, photography, clay modeling, wood work, and metal work among others. Apart from enhancing the skills of a student the school offers extensive playfields for physical growth. Students are encouraged to play a wide variety of sports like Tennis, Squash, Football, Hockey, Swimming, Basketball etc.

International student exchanges help students broaden their outlook. Student's self-governed societies and social service programs have been all constituted in a manner that directly contributes to his all-round development.

Games and Sports

Students at Motherland School are encouraged to play a variety of sports. The school has created infrastructure that allow students to play a wide variety of sports - from team games like basketball to individual sports like chess, from outdoor games like cricket to indoor games like basketball. While some of these sports are played at the inter-school level, other sports are played at the intra-school level.

The school has also made comprehensive arrangements for a number of popular non-competitive sports like equestrian in the school and a large number of adventure sports like white water rafting, trekking, rock climbing and mountaineering outside the school. The school formally recognizes the importance of sport in the growth of an individual by awarding deserving sportspersons with colors and by holding an annual sports banquet which recognizes the sporting achievement of school students.
